Characteristic list
Characteristics define additional nomenclature properties and the rules for entering their values.
How to open
You can open the page from any of these paths:
- Settings → Catalogs → Characteristic;
- Inventory → Catalogs → Characteristic;
- Manufacturing → Catalogs → Characteristic;
Available commands depend on your role permissions.
Search and review
You can narrow the result using showing records marked for deletion, showing inactive records, ValueType, CharacteristicKind and search. Refresh the list after changing the conditions.
The table or tree shows the record name and its main details. Select an available column header to sort and use pagination when the result spans several pages.
Working with the list
Depending on the record state and role permissions, available actions include Create and Edit, Copy, mark a record inactive or return it to active records, mark for deletion or restore. Check the selected row before running an action. Open an empty card to create a record or the selected card to edit it.
