Catalog list forms

Searching, filtering, and using available actions in catalog lists.

A catalog list form displays its items in a table or tree. Its layout and columns vary by catalog, while the general workflow remains the same.

Search and filters

  • Enter part of a name, code, or another value shown in the list into Search.
  • Use additional filters when the form provides them.
  • Select refresh to load the result again after changing conditions or when you need to check the current state.
  • Some forms provide a language selector for localized values.

The table can support sorting by columns and pagination. Leave search and filters empty when you need to view all records available in the current context.

List actions

Create opens a blank item card, while Edit opens the selected item. In some catalogs, double-clicking a row also opens it.

The Actions menu can include copying, showing inactive or deleted records, marking an item inactive, returning it to active status, marking it for deletion, or restoring it. Not every catalog provides all of these commands.

Check the selected row before running an action. If a button is unavailable, the reason may be the item state, catalog configuration, or your role permissions.
